  • What is a Paint & Sip?
Paint & Sip combines the fun, laughter and relaxation of a party with a group painting experience. You'll be guided through the creative process, step by step. During the event, you and your group will work at individual easels to create your own masterpiece! At the end of each event you will have your very own painting to take home and all the memories and laughs that it took to create. Our Paint & Sip experience is often enjoyed with BYO beverages of your choice, for example, coffee, wine, beer (or water, if you prefer) and yummy nibblies! The emphasis of Artist Jessica Butler Paint & Sip experience is to have fun with art and enjoy some YOU time! So come along and Learn. Create. Laugh.
  • How do I book a seat for an event?
We have limited seating, so we do require bookings in advance. All tickets must be purchased via my website https://www.artist-jessicabutler.com. Door sales are not possible. Check out the Upcoming Event tab to pick your painting and book online.
  • What is included in the cost of a Paint & Sip?
Once you're at the event, everything else will be taken care of, including nibblies, all materials, brushes, easels, acrylic paint, aprons and glassware. All you need to bring is your best friend and a bottle of wine (or drink of choice)!
  • When should I arrive?
Doors will open roughly 10 mins before the event. We recommend arriving approximately 10-15 minutes early, so you can check-in, find your seat and get ready to make your masterpiece! We usually begin painting approximately 10-15 minutes after the class has started.
  • How long are Paint & Sip events?
Each event will run for approximately 2.5-3 hours. Plenty of time for you to complete your own unique painting and snap some photos with friends!
  • If I book with friends/family, can we sit together?
Absolutely! If you book multiple seats, we will aim to put you on the same table or as close as possible depending on the size of your group. We are limitted with the number of people we can fit on a table, but we will do everything we can to make your experience as great as it can be!
  • What should I wear?
We recommend wearing something that’s comfy but that you also wouldn’t mind getting a little bit of paint on!
  • Do I have to paint what the artist paints during the session?
While each event has a set painting, we encourage individuality! We welcome you to embrace your creative side and if you choose to change the colours, shapes or add something original, we are happy for you to do so! Our Artists are there as a guide to lead and will help you as you see fit. If you are specifically eager to paint your own original peice in a creative enviroment with the help of an artist, please look for events marked Open Paint.

  • Are events Covid-19 safe?
The health and safety of everyone at Artist Jessica Butler events is my top priority. In line with the QLD Public Health Order, a number of COVID safe measures are in place for the safety and wellbeing of everyone at the event; including the Tripple S (santize, stay seated, sign in) and vaccination. I personally respect the choice to not vaccinate, however, Artist Jessica Butler does comply with all Australian state government requirements (and requirements set out in the room hire). To safely continue to operate my business and for the safety of my customers, I request proof of vaccination as a means of entry to a public or private session. From the 2nd January 2022 masks must be worn indoors everywhere in Queensland until further notice by the Qld Government. If Paint & Sip isn't for you, I have recently launched Paint From Home events as a lovely way to join in the fun from the comfort of your home. Thanks for your understanding.
